Terms of Service

Draft. This text is a draft under legal review. It is not in force yet, and no quote can be accepted until the final version is published.

1. Who we are

JustFixThis is run by [OWNER: full legal name], an independent professional registered in Argentina (CUIT [OWNER: CUIT]). You can reach us at [OWNER: contact email].

2. What we do

We fix things that are broken in software that already exists (FIX IT) and make small, bounded additions or changes to it (ADD IT).

We don't build websites, apps, MVPs or platforms from scratch, and we don't sell hours or consulting.

3. How a job is agreed

You send a case. We review it and either accept it, ask for more information or access, or decline it. We don't have to give a technical reason for declining.

If we accept, you get a private, versioned quote with the scope, what "done" means, the final price in USD, the delivery time and the access we need. A quote is valid for 7 calendar days.

The job is agreed only when you explicitly accept that quote version and these Terms. We record the quote version, the date and the exact version of these Terms you accepted.

If the scope, price or delivery time changes before you pay, we issue a new version and you accept it again. After payment, a change of scope or price is a new request.

4. Price and payment

Public prices are "from" references. The price that applies is the one in the quote you accept.

You pay 100% up front, after accepting the quote. You can pay with PayPal, in USD. If you are in Argentina, you can pay with Mercado Pago, in ARS, at an exchange rate fixed when you start the payment and valid for a limited time.

A payment counts only when the payment provider confirms it to us. Coming back from the payment page doesn't confirm it. We never see your card details.

We issue the invoice that Argentine tax rules require for your case.

5. Delivery time

The delivery time in the quote starts once your payment is confirmed and we have the access or information we asked for. If we are waiting for you, the clock doesn't run.

If we see we'll be late, we tell you before the deadline and propose a new date. If you don't accept it, you can cancel and get a full refund.

6. What you get

Every delivery has three parts: the fix or feature (as a pull request, commit, patch, ZIP or files, depending on your setup), proof it works (a test, a build, a screenshot, a video or a request and its response), and a short explanation of what we did.

We deploy only when deployment is part of the agreed scope.

7. 7-Day Fix Guarantee

If the same problem or deliverable fails again within 7 days of delivery because of our work, we fix it at no extra cost. Report it from your private case page.

Later changes, updated dependencies, changes made by others and new requirements are not the same problem. If a report turns out to be something new, we treat it as a new request and never charge it automatically.

8. Access and your responsibilities

We ask only for the access the job needs. We never ask for personal passwords, such as your GitHub password. Don't put passwords, API keys or production credentials in files or messages you send.

You confirm that you have the right to share the code and systems you give us access to, and that you keep your own backups. You can revoke our access as soon as we deliver.

9. Your material

We use your code and files only to provide the service. Technical material is deleted once the work is delivered, as the Privacy Policy explains. We don't use it for training, a portfolio or anything else without your express permission.

10. Ownership of the work

[OWNER: decide and confirm with legal advice who owns the changes we deliver and from when, for example: once the case is paid, the changes we deliver for your software are yours.]

11. Cancellation and refunds

When you can cancel and when you get money back is explained in the Refunds and Cancellation policy, which is part of these Terms.

12. Liability

[OWNER: define with legal advice the limit of liability and its exceptions, within the consumer rights that can't be waived.]

13. Applicable law

[OWNER: confirm with legal advice the applicable law and jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence are not affected.]

14. Changes to these Terms

We may publish a new version of these Terms. It applies to quotes accepted after its publication. The version you accepted stays recorded with your case.
